We are proud to announce we have selected the Music Enlightenment Project (MEP), a non-profit organisation based in Braamfontein, as our 2016 charity partner. The MEP provides extra-curricular music and dance education to the students of Progressive Primary School as well as the children from surrounding schools that attend the institute in the afternoons.

Through music and dance, the MEP creates a platform for children to develop musically as well enhancing their social, emotional and intellectual development. MEP believes that essential life skills, such as patience, tolerance and understanding can be taught through the interaction of music and dance.

As a percentage of proceeds from each entry fee will be donated to the MEP, we encourage families, social runners and athletes to enter and show their support towards this worthy charitable cause.
